Falling Creek was built by three local businessmen. Famous course architect, Gene Hamm, was commissioned to design the course. It opened in August of 1967. Falling Creek has been a family owned course since 1978. We are proud of our course and believe Falling Creek is among the finest in Eastern North Carolina. The course features 419 Bermuda Fairways and Champion Bermuda Greens that were renovated in 2006. This renovation has resulted in smooth, fast greens that roll true. Falling Creek is an 18-hole, par 71 course with yardage from the tips measuring 6,398 yards. We have 4 sets of tees to choose from with a rating of 69.7 and slope from the men’s tees of 117. Proper golf attire is required at all times for both men and women on the golf course and all practice areas. No denim is allowed. Collared shirts or mock neck tees must be worn.
